Short Breaks Survey

We have received an email this morning from Sefton wanting feedback regarding the short breaks they offer.
They want to hear from children, parents and families on ‘short breaks’ offer for families with children with disabilities and additional needs. They want their short breaks to give kids the chance to have fun, become more independent and form friendships outside of their family.
Examples of short breaks services in Sefton are:
- Aiming High – Term Time After School & Holiday Programme.
- Buddy Up & Buddy Up Plus.
- Springbrook Residential (Day/Overnight).
- Direct Payments (Personal Assistant).
- Day and overnight care.
If you have experience in any of these, please complete their survey and give your thoughts. They want children and young people to give their feedback too and they have a workbook you can go through with your child to help them give their views. If you work with children and families who may find this relevant to them, please pass it on
